My 24 spec is -

19 Witch (for highest thid secondary Lifetap)
12 Curse (for higher damage on base DD)
7 Hex (for 3 chambers)

This gives you 600 to 800 frontload damage, and heals you for 400.

Also tried

19 Curse (highest DD/Pbaoe)
7 witch (chamber)
7 hex (chamber)

This gave around 1000 damage to a target near me (nuking with 3 specline nukes AND 3 pbaoe blasts)
I was able to trash lone enforcer NS's and Infs who miss PA, other spec means IWIN pretty much against anything tho.

50 Spec-
38 Curse, 7 Hex, 37 Witch.

5 Chambers of goodness, 1 bolt, 4 Speclines filled with specline+lifetap

after spending quite a bit of time getting very nice stats on the cabby. had full resists and cl resist buffs and an item with +5% up.. ran in rvr and got 2 shotted by a warlock once for 1029 dmg and something else crazy.... im seriously thinking of rolling a WL : /

I found they are really hard to xp! Witchcraft gives you a good secondary spell when you combine cast, but not great damage.

Curse gives an awesome primary spell, also the dex affected DD is nice, however they only have the pbaoe as a secondary spell (NS does not help you kill mobs incase anyone mentions NS). That means you're not getting the "combined" spell benefit.

Normally I get a few spells off and then need to use a chamber. Kinda sucks as you constantly keep making and firing the damn thinsg

At some point you must be able to kill mobs without using chambers/kiting. Would love to know when that is?

Had full curse spec while leveling up to 24 and had no problems at all with that spec. Double bolt and nuke worked nice.

At 24 im now 20 hex for loldot and lt.. Funny as hell ;p

What I do love however is sneak up and being able to smash out a couple of ice elementals quick as hell. usually takes care of business.
