Was just messing around on TF2 and I found this ingame anyone else found anything like that in other steam games?

Maybe some new idea to get people to buy mmo's via Steam, i bought Aion via steam and it cost me 50 squids and it sucked !

I never buy MMO's via steam, i always buy mine on d2d.

Well actually i did buy fallen earth on steam because it was €2.50 or something at the time.

well the best part is I got mine from the official trion website, not from steam so i've got no idea how its automatically linked it with steam unless steam has picked it up on my pc or something.

Afaik it's only tf2 so far, otherwise pre-orders from different vendors. By preordering rift via steam you get two promotional items in tf2 aswell: Sun-On-A-Stick and Sharpened Volcano Fragment.

You get the rift well spun code in tf2 by completing the Riftwalker achievement: Kill an enemy within 5 seconds of you traveling through an Engineer's teleporter.
