In RvR they are a LOT of fun! Nothing quite like seeing a handful of death spam, which my lowbie one can cause even at level 42

Levelling is another matter of course. Matter cab's don't particularly group well - unless they can get in a PBAOE group because then they can then let the AE dot fly. All too often lower level tanks just don't know how to keep aggro though - so if you get a nice crit or two the matter cab will be face down in the dirt.

Soloing is dullsville whatever class you play ... but I'm very bored (already) of pulling/shielding/dottingx2/shielding again. But as I say - what class can solo enjoyably? All the best levelling IMHO is done in groups where fun conversation can drive things on.

I've decided to retire my cabby from PvE for a bit - and only bring him out to group with guildees.

WoW has been cancelled - apparently someone said Teador was gonna play (joke)

And Krypt adds a lot to Nolby Pride and is probably the main reason why they've been more easily accepted and levelled in Hib, he is like an ambassador. People should just leave him alone.

And btw matter cabalist should pwn in xp groups, the pet damage shield can hold all agro from pbaoer so why do you even need tanks to hit things? just damage shield pet, cleric buff and heal pet and afk minstrel play power song.

Job done, 4 peeps xping on multiple purples at once.

oh and you need a saracen thrust merc in group also and it should be my alt, and you should let me afk while stick on the cabby

Something like that, tried telling a group I was xping with about it today (even tho I actually HATE this form of xping as it excludes a lot of classes just for *uber* group), was told they can't do it cos Ice wiz is (and I quote) 'Boring'?

Maybe if I ever get in a guild maybe I'll organise an xp group based on this formula, alb needs more pbaoe anyway

Aye, most people think wizzies have to be fire spec or they aren't worth playing. Personally I prefer a caster class with a bit more to it than 'nuke, nuke, nuke' but that's just me

As I said somewhere above levelling my matter cab is <yawn>worthy ... but they do have a bag of tricks they can bring out. In a few duels yesterday I was rooting and debuffing people, lifetapping them etc -- sure not as good as the pure body cabalists grab bag, but interesting enough.

Pity that soloing is so dull though
