Yup, L, R, A & B.

I'd imagine it eschews the medium strength kicks 'n punches, and leaves the light & heavy/strong ones.

I'll stick to my Saturn and Dreamcast versions of SFA3

It worked on the megadrives original 3 button pad by using start to switch those three buttons from kicks/punches
