As promised here is the first installment of my on going tattoo cover-up.

Please remember that the tattoos I am having covered up I got when I was 15/16 and yes I know they are dreadful.

Picture 1 is the tattoos I am getting hidden, fear how hard I must be to have a bulldog tattoo :( -

Picture 2 is one side of my arm, in effect the bastard hurty side -

Picture 3 -

Picture 4, in this picture you can see the 4 or 5 red lines going towards my shoulder, this was mega painful, it made me feel pain in other parts of my body as well which was weird, he was using a fine needle for the really thin lines and I grew to hate that little bastard needle really quite quickly -

I went to Indigo Tattoo in Northwich and the guy is so talented its scary, there was no stencil used for my tattoo he just drew it on (you may notice some red and blue pen in the pics) tattooed a bit then carried on drawing a bit more.

You should some see of his work on Myspace - MySpace.com - myth @ indigo tattoo - 36 - Male - UK - www.myspace.com/indigotattoo

Unfortunately I couldn't have black/grey because I need lots of colour for the cover-up.

Next installment in 3 weeks when I go again, this could take me right through to July.

Your old tats are the reason I'd never get one done - I can never decide what I'd like and fear that a few years down the line I'd think "shit I dont really like those anymore :("

amazing work there Trem!

Cheers.

pfft - as if he did anything. just sat on his arse (probably bubbling and squealing like a girly)

respect to the tattooist tho :)

I didn't squeal once, I did close my eyes on the hard to take bits though (the fine lines) the other lines were actually quite relaxing and not that painful, oh god those fine lines though......I dunno if I have any of those left, I hope not.

How long did that take in the parlour?

My piddly little one must have taken about 10-15 mins, and that was a bugger to sit through. :)

3 hours for today but I reckon at least another 4 or 5 sittings at 3 hours each, I was booked in for 4 hours but I wasn't going to complain about finishing early. What was almost as bad was my dead arse and leg that was giving me stick, but of course you can't really move around to get comfy.

Looks like it's gonna be worth it though, and it does look wicked already. Those two others were in need of being covered. :)

But to be fair, mine does too. May get it either added to or covered up entirely.

What I would say is if you do get it covered up do loads of research, its took me 2 years to get to this. I only know the good cover-up people around where I am but I have to say Xtro was fucking great giving me advice on the whole thing, wouldn't of done it without him.

That looks quality so far Trem :)

Cheers Ch3tlar, its hurting like an absolute bastard atm though, hope it doesn't stick to the duvet tonight :eek7:

Cheers Will, you have a dragon don't you?

Aye, though mine is the other way up. Are you getting the full thing done, wrapping around your shoulders? That'd be awesome. ;)

thats not a nice way talk about his other half!!!!!

Heh, made me laugh. Which tells you she isn't. If she was, I'd just have cried. ;)

I aren't sure yet, it is meant to be a sleeve but he hasn't done any outline on the inside of my arm, to be honest I was going to mention it yesterday after 3 hours but I will have a chat with him in 3 weeks. The shoulders hurt the mostest :(

Not long back from another 3 hour tattoo session. First 2 hours were quite easy to bear but the third hour battered me.

So 3 hours for pretty much 1 colour (some lighter blue and white in there) and I decided to have some cherry blossoms dotted around to break it up a little, they will be red not pink

First pic shows how much blood there was on my arm, just in case any of you want putting off the idea of tattoos -

CIMG1730.JPG

You can't really see the white highlighting on any of the pics but it is there -

The award for the most painful part this time is the final pic. The bit at the top absolutely knackered -
