Target Selction Bug or Exploit?

Several times today I've run up behind an unstealthed stealther, and hit nearest target only for me to lose target almost immediately after without them disapearing. Every time I select them I lose the target immediately. Is there some sort of bug people are abusing to do this? happened with a ranger and and 2 sb's so far, and it's almost impossible to even enter combat with them like this. I have to hit f6 and then target so I autoattack as I can't perf or garotte before losing target. Once I actually get into combat with them though, I don't lose target. Anyone else experiencing this? I almost suspected they were spamming stealth over and over to keep hiding and unstealthing but they shouldn't be able to to that right next to me surely...

i thought that the the one with the lowest stealth isn't able to stealth.

with 24 stealth at lvl 24, you can stealth almost on top of someone

Averaging 2rp a kill, that would only be 31.5K kills wihout logging, lding, or the server crashing.

As for the bug, it's happened a few more times since I posted last, including againast a kobbie sb who was actually fighting someone at the time, so it definitely isn't stealth. I'm thinking it might be a bug to do with my computer/settings instead. Some really strange things are happening since I change my keyboard map, such as getting prompts to destroy items I'm trying to sell etc.. I think maybe the whole stealth aspect is just coincidence,a s most of my infs targets were sb's and other stealthing characters
