nah im just blatantly fixing up the numbers so that they make a very clear point, which I will leave up to the interested reader to figure out.

typo removed ;)

anyway, this kind of statistics say very little in themselves, as they are based on one server only.
I'll go check the worldwide statistics.

edit:
here ya go.
http://www.camelot-seer.com/handler.cfm?app=classes&method=rp50

the interested reader can use this to calculate the average rp/ level 50 tank
http://www.camelot-seer.com/handler.cfm?app=classes&method=pop50

I cant be arsed, I already know the answer.

the side with the most players will get the least RP per player. It's Game Theory :)

100 albs kill 20 mids, losing 5 in the process

say you get 100 RP for each enemy (for simplification)

100 albs get 2000 shared between them, 20 each

20 mids get 500 shared between them, 25 each

repeat :) mids get realm abilities, manage to kill 6 7 8 etc.

The difference only gets larger.

Nice fingoniel, did u figure that out on yourself or did u quote Sanya ;)

Besides, those calculations have a lot of assumptions in them, for one that the realm with the largest number always zergs.

Another is that 100 vs 20 will result in 5 deaths.

One more: largest number realm has more ppl in rvr

again: smallest number realm moves in smaller groups

-zerging warfare yielding all RP, with small group warfare giving not even a tiny contributiong to the average rp on either side

etc etc

(Not saying that the assumptions are wrong, just that they must be stated and verified for the argument to be valid).

Statistics, more statistics and damn lies ( not right quote but something like that)

We could all pull statistics to prove whatever we want and quote more to disprove, but it doesnt really prove anything.

I actually think it was like this:

The are big lies, there are bigger lies, and then there are statistics

Indeed, it was an illustration of a theory, postulated by MahrinSkel (one of the mythic developers, not Sanya :) I've mentioned it in other threads I'm sure) and it _apparently_ fits the data they have very well.

Need some data from an albion-minority server on the US. Camelot seer doesn't seem to break things down by server :( be nice to see how the albion classes do on those servers.

If there is a _major_ realm inbalance then they'd still be doing really badly on those servers.

If there is only a minor imbalance then the albion side would be doing well in RP/person.

Anyone know a good stats site other than camelot-seer?
