Yeah I got it, isnt bad but have a few quibbles, its very short (I realise its and episode and is not the price of a full game but 3hrs isnt a long time). Also the movement system is just wrong, they're turned point + click into point + click + drag, (you point away from Guybrush, click, and literally drag him around the screen), LeChuck has a different voice actor too. Some nice jokes in their though one or two I lol'd at

My mate told me they're redoing monkey island for xblox live. A quick google found this:

Think i'll wait for that, original actors doing the voice overs and if you're a purist you can just hit a button to switch back to 'old style'

The revamped version of monkey island sounds sweet, my current pc has no floppy drive so i cant play the old version, think i might have lost that book you need too! Or that the second one?

that is awesome, aoami and I have combined our brain power and got pretty far, got the safe combination, just trying to figure out how to input it properly.

Gah, need help with the colour codes, tried the a-f combo given in the briefcase on first code, nothing, tried the cube with the second nothing. Also uv light anyone?

Got the combo safe open, moved the chair, got the uv from the floor board, opened the plug socket, but just cannot crack the code for these two light safes to get the last two keys for the lockbox.

HELP!

Hope they get the idea of episodic gaming better then one..other...company.

In any case, heads up; Gaming business is going into more and more episodic gaming in the coming year/two. It's the new "thing" some executive moron came up with that everyone is following now.

Got everything you have ch3t but can't work out how to actually open the safe, assuuming the information I think is the code is correct.

safe is easy cal. Start on zero, reset it to zero and click off and back onto the safe if you have changed it.

After the digit it will say what side of the safe to click on, so if it says R, click on the right side of the dial until you get to that number. From that first number, go to the second number by clicking on the side of the safe it tells you (usually the opposite). The xx digits are on the note in the testtube.

OKay I did the bastard musicbox last night, went to bed, and now it will not let me continue, and the codes all change on a new game :/ I'm fucking tone deaf so this music box thing is hard as fuck for me

Done that and have twisted it both ways from zero, it just does not want to open. god damn annoying!

It does cal, if it does not you are doing something wrong

Like I sad the L and R refer to which side of the dial you should click on, not which direction to turn the dial. The numbers refer to where you should stop, not how many turns of the dial. You do not have to go past zero every time, you just have to start from zero on the first number.

Tell me what code you have, and I'll try and explain how I would enter it.

The music box is just trial and error and actually much easier than I assumed it was going to be. Still stuck on the colour codes though.

Just played the free demo on the xbox, and wow, I feel like I've been transported back to the late 90s when I first started the monkey island games on the graphics are much better. As I speak the full version is downloading yay!!

Got up to putting the batties inside the UV light, got all the hidden codes afaik, the good luck letter corrosponds different letters together, so GD, OC, OU, LK - is this some sort of code?

Also, I have the numbers from the rubic cube but have no idea what to do with it, any tips?
