taking a break with daoc, testing EQ2 instead

Anyone else playing Eq2?
im at this moment updating it and will be trying it for some time (got sorta hooked on the free trial).
WoW didnt look very funny (been watching the game at some mates) but i found Eq2 quite amusing however, but as far as i understand it aint any pvp in the game so I will probably return to daoc after awhile tho =)

For the ones that actually do play Eq2, is it worth it upgrading to the expansion and all those extra stuff you can add in the subscription (such as dynamic item info and so on) ?

It sucks. Surely only a mentally ill person would enjoy playing an online game that doesn't involve PvP.

you see it in the wrong perspective mate, see it as a offline rpg with alot more stuff to do =P

anyway....I dont think i will continue after the free month however bacause of two reasons:
1: SOE speciality seem to be laggy games (Swg, planetside...eq2)
2: It wasnt what i hoped it would be like (missing alot of atmosphere and stuff)


btw....Guildwars releasing soon anyway and that game is fun =)
