tbh i was dissapointed at midgard's defense....

The way I see it is this; why come and take defended keeps and get our arses farmed while having absolutely no fun? If we had anything to defend then it would be a different story but now all it will accomplish is feeding Albs more RP.

Why be bored and pissed off taking keeps back for no reason now when we can do it at 4 in the morning? Sure, we'll be bored and pissed off while doing it but atleast we won't be farmed for all we're worth.

Nah, I enjoyed that raid. I was leveling my Reaver in Keltoi when we got the guard death spam on /gu saying "A Sursbrooke Knight from your Outpost has been killed with 113 enemies in the area!" thought it was a bug.. heh.

getting the first door down can hardly be called a failure.... hope you enjoyed the scenery while reparing them.
Shame it wasn't most of midgard.... but atleast we know that we can get the first door down primetime... next target is second door :p

Silver 3.5 plats were sent on the wood. To recover it we roughly need 2 evenings on bot account. So you can be proud that your attempt will probably make 2 infis on this server run a bit unbuffed.

One question did you get anywhere near the relics...... answer no, therefore you FAILED making the whole event a failure.
Gratz mid on letting my greybie alt get a few realm rank levels :)

PS. I now have my earth wizzy logged on inside, next time i'll farm you :)

Ahhhh but prime time relic raids...... that makes sense, i mean you wouldnt be farmed or adding to albs RPs would you ;) NERF

I'm sorry, oh clueless maker of silly posts, but I wasn't on the relic raid for precisely that reason.

Prime time relic raids are stupid. End of.

i think midgard deserves credit for trying, and i dont think its a failure if it costs the defenders anything in time and cash to repair.

Of course, there are degrees of success, obviously, but if you had just a slight bit of fun doing it, it was a success overall.

You should have stayed alive for 5 minutes more though. i only got to Sauvage :(

All credit to the Mids for trying.....Albs moan when Mids attack during off peak hours, and then criticise when they attack on-peak.

Like Liste said, if people had fun then it was a success.

Kudos to Midgard for trying it, and yes, getting a door down is a success in recent patches.

Question: How was the new GFX engine for it? Noticeably better?

Jup dont use it. Ever.graphic lag is much more horrible with it, with all texture caching implemented in some really perversive way. Even one fg vs fg fights made me lag so much, that i couldn`t land a single perf :/

Some Albs moan... would be more accurate, just like some Mids/Hibs moan about [insert subject].

Personally, good try, hope you don't have as much luck next time ;)

As an aside, I think Midgard are in a similar state of mind as Albion were a while ago, why bother defending when there's nothing to defend. We got over it (eventually), hope you can too...

aye damn it sure was laggy

before I could actually stand on the wall and look out on everyone down below but even beign down in the courtyard made my computer lagg up, took effects off but still lagged loads

but was fun that youn tried something atleast.... made you look alot more organised than you have been the lastest weeks :clap: :clap:

TBH my lag wasnt "that" bad... compared to some of the previous RR's it was positively smooth :)

was about 75% of normal fps.

and yes :) we had fun. I just felt sorry for the only alb we encountered on the way there... a poor 35ish Briton, who saw the zerg, then waved... and that was all he could do.

technically..its only classed as a failure depending on the middies objectives.


If they had the object of the relics..then yes it was a failure....
but if they had the objective of costing albion some cash..then they succeded


Its all about how u look at a situation..is the glass half full or half empty?
