TAC Servers not registered with master server?!?

Why are the BarrysWorld TAC servers not registered with the master server?!?!?!?!

This has lead to the rapid decline of TAC being played because most people use Tribes to find the TAC server and as far as they can tell, there are no BW TAC Servers.

Where once there was a TAC server which was full from early evening til way into the small hours now there are 2 empty servers. Thats because hardly anyone knows they are there.

Please get them registered with the master server NOW!!!!

Are you using the in game browser? I had to delete the master servers and restart Tribes 3 or 4 times before it picked up on the fact the servers were there on Monday when the server IP changed...

Gamespy had no trouble in updating properly so maybe just a bug/feature in Tribes

I don't use gamespy at all, like many other Tribes players. Windows and Tribes is quite capable of crashing together without the help of another program getting a slice of the action

I always use the ingame browser, it was supplied for that purpose. I don't see the need to use another program to do the job the ingame browser should be doing. I have deleted the master servers many times and still no BarrysWorld TAC servers show up.

Would I be correct in thinking gamespy finds servers even if they are not registered with the master?

All I know is there was a BarrysWorld TAC server that everyone could find and now there isn't. I'm obviously not the only one with this problem, otherwise at least one of the new BW TAC servers would be full every evening and they aren't. They remain empty

Gamespy can't find servers that aren't registered unless you put in the IP manually.

Your right tho, it's a little to quiet ATM. Maybe a good time for a SPAM offensive

Well, it was liste on the Uk Master Server...

That's all I use now.

But, check out the upcoming Net Games UK Servers, I'm the admin of the TAC one

I might also be able to get it for clan games once in a while... (based in UK *hint hint*)

They are on the UK master.

What I suspect you are seeing is the lack of players who use other master servers (US in particular).

First thing to do is double check you are actually using the UK master; you can only use one at a time...
