TA has aged well

Hi there. I'd just like to point out that I think Total Annihilation has aged very well. It still compares favourably to what's out there and remains one of my most enjoyable games.

(I also kick ass too).

I agree absolutely. Especially with the fact that it's programmed well enough that resolutions I didn't think existed back then are supported and such, making the slightly dated graphics much less noticeable. And the musical score is still fantastic. Too bad I can't play this online through my firewall right now though.

I'd say TA was the best ever RTS, only recently surpassed by Generals and its Zero Hour expansion pack.

Oh yeah, and agreed about the music, it's on a level with Outcast. (Top-fucking-Notch).

I still have the game and one of the expansions compressed on my hard drive for when Louster gets his firewall fixed. Hoping for a game before 64-bit operating systems are rolled out and it probably won't work, but that might be being a bit optimistic.

Its one of those little games that can be classed as timeless.
