what type of system is needed to play this? at the mo i got

GF4 MX
ahtlon 1.1ghz
448 MB RAM

anyone think this is gonna be enough?

You'll be able to play, but not enjoy it.

RAM boosts seemed to have made the most difference for ppl I play with.

This was my old spec:

AMD 1.7ghz Athlon XP
256mb DDR Ram
Geforce 2 GTS

playability - chuggy, always had the HDD churning like mad at the first sign of any action. Reduced res to 800 which improved things a bit but still HDD churn.

Upgraded vid card and ram so now :
AMD 1.7ghz Athlon XP
768mb DDR Ram
Sapphire Radeon 9500 Pro

I did briefly have 1gig of RAM but needed a stick for another comp.

Game runs silky smooth now, NO probs at all.

I think the majority of testers are ok with 512mb ram, anything else is a bonus - a lot of hardcore players have upped to 1gig I think but all I noticed was faster loading times when zoning.

I'd get RAM first, then see if you can upgrade the vid card soonish.

dunno what the fuck your talking about but by enough i mean to be able to play the game in a decent res, with not much slow down and no choppyness.

well I have
1.8 gig processor
ATI 9700 pro with 128 megabytes of VRAM
1gig system RAM
1mb adsl internet access

and I still get occasional 2 second pauses every now and then (where the music repepats over and over), and am still not able to play at full graphic settings without a noticable performance hit .

I got Athlon 3000XP
512 DDR 2700 duel channel nforce 2 stuff
Radeon 9800 pro (Did have 9700 pro and same results)
1 meg ADSL

I can run full gfx the works ....

Saying that it may well be like bf1942, with the whole Sound issues.

yeah when I play in full settings at 1600 res the drop in FPS is noticable, it felt like I was playing unreal 2 again .

The 2 second pauses happen regardless of what settings I have.

LMAO No not that i started out with alot less but got free upgrades off m8s.

9700 pro >> 9800 pro i paid nought

Athlon 2700XP >> 2800 nought >> 3000 20 quid
