I know there has been a thread about this recently. I'm going to switch from Orange to Virgin. Been looking on Virgins website and it says all you need is a 'MAC' to switch ISP. Do i need to contact orange to let them know I wanna cancel with them or do virgin do all that for me?

thanks :)

when your contract with orange is done, get the MAC code off them and give it to virgin. all dealings are then between those two companies.

GL :p Orange can be bastards! bit like AOL, trying to keep you.

Ah I love trying to quit AOL.

Got an Indian bint in India(naturally), trying to pursuade me that AOL is not a load of shit. In the end i said it was crap service and was only on the free trial because it was free and m BT broadband took 28 days to sort.

She wasnt impressed!

Ok just looked on the site Keitan posted(Thanks Keitan). And it seems that Virgin media are one of the worst ISP's. Every review is bad, not one good one. http://www.ispreview.co.uk/review/censura.php?cmd=details&itemid=263

So, choices, choices, choices :)

Is it possible to get a cheap ISP (under £20/month) which is good(2mb+, no download limits, good connection etc)?

Bt, but thats 22quid ish a month :(

Never had a problem with them, been with them like 2 years now! :)

Think a few others have noted how good it is :)
