switching energy supplier

Anyone else had problems when switching energy suppliers?i moved from british gas to npower recently and keep getting bills from british gas saying i owe them money on a prepayment card meter,ive phoned both suppliers up npower said they would just send the relevent info to BG.

BG themselves dont understand why i have the bill but say they are investigating it and that i dont have to pay it, but it will take from 28-90days to sort out while i still get letters (crap credit rateing ty) latest saying court action.

npower are time wasting bastards, switch to us here's what we do for the environment blah blah blah fill in all these forms and save £20 a year!

I can see old people feeling pressured in switching when they knock on the door.

my class mate has just been to court about this exact problem with BG. in the end he took BG to court as they put a CCJ on his name for something not his problem.

he got full compensation of a few grand, couple other things and 2.50/mile travel expenses
