know two people who've had it,
both say they've had faaar worse, not that they'r exactly thrilled or jumping about, but one was down for 2 days the other 3 days....

tbh with the kind of job I have, I'd be suprised if I dont catch it at some point.

Fuckin epic way to make money tho, just make some bullshit product that is supposed to counter the swine flu and POW we have the solution to the financial crisis!
I know my mom bought shitloads of anti bacterial shit products and other useless crap. I'd rather die from swine flu than give a single penny to the "medicine" industry..

Two more things that are bugging me recently:

1) The press pushing Tamiflu as a "must have" in studies, its been found that at best it decreases symptoms by 12 hours.
For the virus in its current form (ie not more deadly), its just not really necessary unless you're in a vulnerable group.

2) Articles like the one on yahoo. While I sympathise, its inevitable that more "usual" diagnoses won't be considered and that some people will die from this. Whether this figure is higher than deaths from swine flu or not I dont know.

Tamiflu may or may not work, but its free so I am not losing out by taking it.
