Sven co-op 2 Final

With the release of Sven co-op 2 final not too far off in the distant future (under a month all being well ), I wanted to know if Barrysworld was planning on supporting this mod? Sven co-op 2b proved to have lots of bugs and also no Linux port was ever released for it, 2 final has bug fixes for all of the problems and they plan to release a Linux port according to their news page at the same time as they release Sven co-op 2 Final. If anyone reading this hasn’t played or heard of Sven co-op its a HL mod which gives players the ability to play Half-life single player maps through with other players as a multiplayer game; however that isn’t the greatest feature of it. Sven co-op is fun for its custom maps, models, etc, which require players to work as a team to destroy the AI controlled enemies. Great fun in my opinion but there is a shortage of servers.

It can be... I get a decent enough ping on most maps though.

I get about 100 ping...which is shite tbh.

Although alot of people get higher than average pings; I get about 100 aswell, but my average for any game is 100 (I have something in between Single Channel ISDN and Dual Channel ISDN). Pings are higher because there are so many monsters on most maps and alot for the server to handle, there also arn't many good UK server, only really fast ones are the three blueyonder servers... and they are full alot .

I like Sven - makes a nice change to CS, except when twats are blocking or killing the vital npc's
