All entertainment is "pointless", but the film was good. I liked the premise of the film, I liked the plot twists, I liked the acting and the fact that it was about more than shooting bad guys and chase scenes, the scenes between husband and wife were very touching - and rather than the backstory being 'in your face', it was subtly conveyed during the film.
Gotta agree there, unless all activities are pointless (which surprisingly many "smart" people think, while being completely oblivious to their own depression )
Haven't seen it yet, but it seems like a bruce willis action blob, so it might be good by that merit alone.
Hopefully some atsy fartsy plotline doesn't ruin it, or some director trying to do too much.
