I've actually had FF crashing at certain points on some forums, kinda annoying. Though it's only really PHPBB issues.
But yeah, IE tends to be fubar recently.

Thats right! I use IE! and I'm not ashamed!
I have FF installed just incase I one day need it, but rarely use it. I cant remember the last time IE crashed on me, plus FF takes too long to load up - if I want to check something quickly, or whatever, generally I just dont have the patience for FF to open. Certain other quirks I've noticed with it, such as the aforementioned issues on forums, just mean that I end up going back to IE.
Being moderately IT minded I know that there are drawbacks to IE, and that there are probably ways to work FF out so that it runs as well as (or better than) IE does, but the thing is, I'm sure that as soon as I end up doing that, they'll bring out something new so that FF needs updating and reconfiguring.
So basically its down to laziness/impatience - I'm sure FF and other browsers are good, and I'm not going to throw mud at the people who swear by them, but I'm happy with my IE atm

depends if you have a hundred plugins installed or not, a clean install of FF is faster than IE to load up

Ahh, that would be it then - found clean install wasnt alot of use though - needed plugins to run anything etc
As I say, I'm under no illusions that it's possible to get FF (or other non-ms browsers) running nicely, just not so sure if its worth all the hassle
