I now know whats worse than your cat bringing a dead mouse into the house.

Bringing in a live one, then dropping it on the floor.

I am now into hour 2 of mouse hunt, I swear the damn thing is winding me up and has some sort of teleport device, every time ive got it cornered it vanishes and I find it 20 minutes later under a bookcase on the opposite side of the room. If that stupid fucking cat comes in soon meowing for his supper Im going to microwave the little prat.

Well, its keeping you busy!

After my other cat got put down a month ago, my cat Chloe (who used to be a right miserable git) seems to like everyone now, presumably so we don't take her away to the great citty-litter box in the sky. But she's now developed a tedious habit of sitting on the keyboard when you're on the computer, and when you get up to move her off, she jumps on your seat.
Gah!

Never get that problem with a dog. Dog eats its dinner, goes outside, has a dump, come back in, then goes to sleep. Cats are nasty

and sometimes for extra fun it goes like this:

Dog eats its dinner, pukes it up, eats the puke, goes outside, has a dump, eats the dump, pukes the dump up, eats the dump puke, comes inside, licks your face

:p

Funny, my mates cat did this the other week.

His wife locked the cat in the same room as it and banned anyone from feeding the cat until it was dead. All we heard for the rest of the night was screams of "OMG it's next to my fags". Apparently informing her that it was unlikely to smoke them wasn't helping the situation.

My daughter's cat has started bringing in snakes, draped in its mouth like a Zapata moustache. Unfortunately the advice that you can tell an adder from a grass snake by the size of the scales on their head is not much help to us as we're pathologically frightened of both. So there's no way we're going to get close enough to see!

I sooooo agree =)

Oh and about the mouse. Don't hunt it. Just imprison your cat in the house and let it hunt, works for us most of the time =)

My cat used to catch mice all the time, sometimes snakes and once or twice I've seen her eat half a squirrel :D

Now she's all fat and old.. But I still love the little critter, yes I do!

I have 2 cats one plays with the mouse while his son watches on then when he gets bored he leaves it and walks away and the son eats it. The pair of them tried to team up on a seagull the size of a rhino a few months again the son got his arse whipped Duke hid under the table till it left.

bah :( giant cat waving an anaconda about it is gob woulda been more impressive than a normal sized cat with a tiny snake tbh.

i love watching cats try to take on a seagull, saw one charging a gull once and the gull turned and just gave it this beady eyed look and the cat kind of veered off mid-charge and started grooming himself he was all "yeah i'm cool, i was just in a hurry to lick mah bits, gotta problem?"

i reckon my cat could take a gull if he wasnt so clingy. You cant sit on the couch without him being on your lap, he even sleeps on my chest when i am lying down watching tv. Still he walks like a pit bull so that must mean he is hard

He's also quite mental, and loves sitting in the bath

I have woken up in the middle of the night b4 now, not being able to breath, and found my cat asleep on my chest

The thing is, i cant work out how i dont wake up when she is climbing on me and settling down, as it usually takes a good 2 mins to claw the area first and get comfy
