If you think stun is not a nice thing to have then your full of bull imo,
it helps you finish the target unless he purges.

Especially in keep fights when you can stun ppl and land
those extra nukes.

Mezz and root wont do that for you.

Thats why you get a lower duration, and Im willing to bet the hib baseline
stun and mid healer stun wont change anytime soon.

I honestly dont have any real problems with stun, sure it sucks when you
get killed by someone using it, but atleast it can be purged.

In that respect I must say zephyr and static tempest is much worse.
Nothing more annoying when you lose out due to something you really
cannot prevent.

baseline stun on a caster is stupidly overpowerd but it's generally accepted by the people..

Happens alot to me as well, but much less when I roam and have a pet.
On the other hand as soon as I am near a keep/tower I can bet my ass will be
full of arrows as soon as I start doing something.

All the bowleachers out there seem to do is wait till I get busy then pepper me.
If I survive and Im in range to face them they stealth immidiately and just pop again as soon as you turn your back.

Thats life, but on the other hand thats exactly what I would do if I had
a bow and tons of range.

Funny thing about albs whining @ hib casters when their own casters dont even need to stun people as they seems uninteruptable when using that baseline LT.. At least i heard it gets nerfed in cata.. Can anyone confirm that? LT nerf.. givf :D

I am interrupted by anything just like every other caster in the game,
no more no less.
Saying that a baseline LT makes me harder to interrupt is just pure
and utter bull.

Did you ever think about the fact that the ice wiz pbaoe has the exact same
cast time? (2.5 sec) And I am willing to bet off the top off my head that
every other pbaoe nuker has a 2.5 sec pbaoe as well.
Does that make them "uninterruptable"?

The only thing in game I have ever heard of being uninterruptable is a
caster using quick cast, MOC or instas, and with cata the warlocks uninterruptable primer.

With a bit more dex you cap out the slower spec spells
as well so in reality if you spec some dex you wont even notice the difference.
2.5 sec baseline caps out at about 385 dex and you need a tad
more to cap out the other baseline and specline spells (2.6 & 2.8 sec spells)
(A firewiz with some dex will cast just as fast as I do with my 2.5 sec LT)

So if you get a proper template I am sure you will notice the difference
between fiction and reality.

Compare that to the fact that only purge II or better will save
me if I meet someone solo and he gets a stun on me.

Everyone has their advantage in different situations and the grass is always
greener on the other side...

Thats the bottom line.

I must add that 'Träbaljor' as we call them here are quite nice actually.
Besides, they make a cool, klopp, klopp sound when you walk in them.

spells cap out at around 403 dex and 10%toa spd....periode!! If you dont believe me...prove Pin wrong ;)

So many say its 385-386 dex...but I choose to believe Teh Pin :D

/Dracus

I dont think those formulas r rigth xDDD

When i tested with my mage, and u cast 2 pbs more in 1 min with 410 dex than 387 dex..

test > formulas imo :)

2+2= 7?

That would mean that all casters would cap their spells at a given dex
no matter if it is a 4 second spell or a 2 second spell.

In that case I will have to have a look at my template and see if I
can drop some dex cap and pop in some other nifty stuff.
