Stuck in Surface Tension - please help

I'm stuck in the compound where the air strikes occur, there seems to be no way out.

There's an armoured car (in front of which aliens paradrop but are killed by first air strike) and a building to the right of it which has an armoury on the first floor up. Behind this building there's some locked green doors and ladders up to a high up wall exit but these were blown by an air strike.

I hope that's enough info to remind you of where I'm talking about.

To sum up - none of the green doors open, the ladder up is damaged and unreachable (no boxes to move) and the garage door in the tunnel behind the armoured car is locked.

Help.

I have the answer!!!!!
After you go to the armoury to stock up with shooty stuff, head back out but do not go down the stairs. Instead go out the window that is next to the stairs and head to the right along the window ledge. You will see the broken ladder on the wall on your left. Jump towards it using the platforms/box thingys (u could'nt get on these from the ground) and climb up the broken ladder.
