after his team's (man city) 3-1 loss to man utd, was asked if his striker Corradi deserved to be sent off for diving.. 2nd bookable offense.. he said

some managers will stand here and give some bullshit excuse defending his player. i wont. i'll be having words with him midweek.

OOOOO! i wonder who he means hehe.. perhaps the oppositions manager? :p

I'm guessing he's just saying that to look good in the press and the player will be getting a tremendously huge fine of about 1000 quid. And what is 1000 quid to a footballer?

Two important notes to make. First of all Chelsea are still in the League Cup, that means a minimum of 3 (including the 2 league games in hand) games they have to play in the same period as United between now and the end of the season. They have a busy fixture list as it as and not having a league game last week only compounds the problem of fixture congestion somewhere down the line for them, now yes they have an awesome squad but Jose isn't going to change the full 11 for those games so at least a handful of regulars are going to be a bit more tired than should be expected.

Secondly, as you are well aware Vlad me ol'sausage it is far far better to be ahead of the pack than chasing the points against strong opposition, Jose would much rather have the points today rather than be facing 2 tough games just to keep United on the horizon.

Now don't misunderstand me, I am not writing Chelsea's chances of another title off in any way shape or form. The are a great side and if anyone can cope it is them but you have to be honest and admit than United are in a more favourable postition for the moment and Chelsea cannot afford to be dropping any points.

Why did chelski get a week off last week bit gay really some teams had 3 games in 7 days and chelski got a week off, was it because of playing in europe as i though that was normal to still play at the weekend?

9 points clear, superior goal difference.

Catch us if you can.

Maureen and his rent boys have never been in this position before of catch up, so let's see how they handle the pressure.

Don't write Arse off today, they are capable of screwing anyone over on a good day.

United will probably be playing some legends in that game as well, Hughes/Cantona/Robson et al which easies the burden a little. Still, poor sheduling by United, no idea why they would arrange an extra match a vital point in the league campaign.

They were meant to play Newcastle that week on the Saturday, but Newcastle had a Uefa cup game on the thursday iirc.

And lawl, don't write off Arsenal. They're missing their best 2 centre backs, Rosicky and Henry.

Arseraping inc :p

Who did chelski pay to stop there game being moved to sunday then like everyone else would have :)

Toure is arsenals best CB and i think hes playing so thats good. Roisky and Henry missing is bad, im not sure about Galas. Toure and Senderos play well together and Clichey and Eboue and both great. We will just have to wait and see i suppose i can't wait for Walcot to make a mug of Ca$hley Cole in the second half :)

As i said earlier never write off Arse, they did well today considering the players they had missing.

Newcastle will be tough, they have picked up some form lately, so you never know.

I bet SAF's glass of wine will be going down well tonight :)

Im going to sound bitter but i do not rate the chelski goal as awesome it was a good goal but i prefer a goal with a good build up nice play then a good finish. Last season the goal of the seson was all frigging long shoots and when you see how many of them go into the stand it bugs me that they get some much praise for the 1 in 5 that hit the net. It is prolly because i do not see many long shotts at the emirates that i do not rate them

At the end of they day though i think we were lucky to get a draw and again Lehmon nearly cost us a game by acting a tit. Just a shame chelskis goal came from a foul by ca$hley twice as bitter now :)
