For anyone that doesnt know, they are an English band.

Just wondered how well known they were? They recently toured with Reel Big Fish and Sonic Boom Six. Friend downloaded the discography on my pc. Clicked on a couple of random songs and now am addicted. Very energetic, quite unique lyrics and a trumpet player thats just plain crazy. For a moderately pop-music/D&B/Trance lad i was quite shocked at just how much i liked em.

Definately worth a listen if your stuck on music at the moment. Somewhere In The Between is their latest album and Somewhere In The Between and We Will Fall Together were the first songs i listened to. Very catchy tunes.

Also if you havent heard of them give Sonic Boom Six a go. Not another band like em really but everyone that hears them enjoys em. Think their best album is The Ruff Guide To Genre Terrorism. All songs are good!

Genre of both these bands is Ska/Punk. But even if you dont like that genre give em a go, i didnt before.

Also whilst on topic, check Six Point Five out on myspace, same kinda genre but a mates band. Touring UK next month and imo are very likable.

Both are pretty well known on the ska/punk scene.

Glad to see Sonic Boom Six are doing well, saw them about 8 years ago as the starting band at a small gig and then last year i saw them playing at reading festival :)

If you havent already look for Capdowns first few albums, they were a lot like Streetlight Manifesto but in my opinion, better.

Aye Capdown came from where i live and Six Point Five are pretty good friends with them.

As i said, im not very big on the ska/punk scene, always been more of a clubber. But good mates are much more into it so ended up listening to some and love it. Always fun to get into new music.

Literally SB6 are loved by everyone who hears them, even the most poppy of people lol. Weird how some bands can do that. If you like ska/punk do try a few of Six Point Fives songs on myspace as i'd love to know a neutral opinion.

Streetlight are American btw :p

Ive seen them a couple times now, probably my favourite band, and they're amazing live. They pretty much blew reel big fish away on the current tour.

Check out the original Keasby Nights by Catch 22 aswell, its pretty much half of streetlight including the singer/songwriter. Great album (the re-recording streetlight did doesn't have the same energy imo).

I fucking love streetlight manifesto, one of, if not my favorite band. They used to be very small in england, they came to fame (for me and everyone i know, atleast) when they played at The Peel (large pub gig venue) in my town, kingston.. this was around 4-5 years ago, they played in consecutave(sp?!) years both times awesome, still two of the best gigs ive ever been to. Saw them with reel big fish as you said in london 3 weeks ago or summin;] sonic boom six are alright, not anything special tho imo.

my favorite music being ska/punk/rock/alt ... still well into my d&b and dubstep tooooooo

if you like streetlight then check out old catch 22, old catch 22 is basically streetlight, untill the singer moved onto make streeeeetlight ;] Catch 22 - Keasby nights is defo worth a download! Also check out Big D and the Kids table, they are awesome. Random hand and Voodoo glow skulls worth a mention theyre also decent ska bands..

Aye i knew about catch 22. Prefer Somewhere In The Between and Everything Went Numb to Keasbey Nights though so never really bothered downloading it.

Pinp you into D&B? Went to see Marky and Fabio at Thekla in Bristol last sunday. Marky's upside down scratching was fucking insane, everyone was going mental, best rave i've been to probably ever.
