Ok lets change the ending for all the unhappy people.

Neo destroys the matrix killing smith inside it and releases all 6 billion of its in habitants.

The machines all go for one last attack on Zion throwing everything they have at them.

Morpheus finds a spare ship in the garage and as all the machines burst into the dock he triggers it and disables every single one of them.

2 billion of the inhabitants of The Matrix wake up in pink goo and drown before they work out what happened.

1 billion of them climb out of their cocoons and fall 300feet to their death

3 billion sit and wait for help wondering whats happened most of them eventually die as Zion simply is unable to cope with a population rise from 250,000 to 3,000,000,000

Worst ending in motion picture history.

Just watching a bit of reloaded - he's progressively gaining more power to do things. In the fight sequence in front of the flight of stairs he does a back flip and then basically summons a dagger off the wall... maybe a link to what he'll be able to do... i.e. in revolutions

tho the blowing up of the machines is in the real world so that makes my point null & void! huzzah :D:/

I don't have a problem with the idea that Neo can blow stuff up in the real world - just think of it like this; he's not looking at the physical - he's looking at the software (this is why he can still 'see' after he's blinded -he's looking at each machine's program - it's 'soul' if you will) which is what he does when he's in the Matrix (maybe he upgraded himself with 802.11g or something :)), so when he holds his hand out and a machine blows up, he's not making the machine blow up directly, he's making the machine blow itself up by hacking its program.

Of course of few people here are claiming that he's not in the 'real world' at all, and he's still inside a program (Matrix or otherwise) but there's no evidence to suggest that, the 'real world' is just that (which is why the film is so lame tbh).
