Strange Sound

Hmm, ever since i put Win2000 back on, and installed Counterstrike, ive found that when i am playing i can hear a considerable distance more than i could before i took off my old Win2000.

Its like, i can distinctivly hear where an Enemy is, if he is climbing up Ladders at a distance, like, its a very sharp noise pointing to the area he is in.

I've heard about this A3d but its not installed, so im wondering why everything sounds different? Because the Config is the same as it was before i took off Win2000.

I just want my old sound back.. it drives me crazy! :/

Kind of yeah,

The footsteps etc are a pain because the noise is very sharp, "cutting" thru your Ears, if i lower the volume then i cant hear fuck all, but also i feel that its kind of unfair, i wanna play realistically.. heh

To play CS realistically...there is no such thing.

ah i get it now,the footsteps.i had this problem a few days ago,just tell throddy to turn his stilletos mod off and it will help.dont really think that they go with combats anyway but each to there own.
