Do you ever get days or fights where you cba to kill the person you're fighting?

ie you're fighting someone, you get him down to say 5~10% HP then just walk off leaving him alive.

I've had that sort of feeling for a few days now, sometimes I just cba to kill someone and I just leave them alone, do /bow and walk away letting them live.

its the other way around for me. i normally leave all easy / good fights at low hp, unless its not sure who wins, unless im moody. then i kill them :p

I've had this alot recently too, found a chanter with a BB in PoC one of the first few times i went in there, I killed the chanter easy enough but didnt want to kill the bb.

Had the same thing with a hunter, he wasnt on 5% and the chances are he'd have put up a fight towards the end, but i shot 1 or 2 arrows then just stopped and /hugged and let him go.

Think some times its a good laugh, the game creates the feeling of a 'foriegn' enemy really well to me, for the first few months in RvR I didnt see the mids and hibs as just players who chose differently when they started playing, they where the enemy, an I fought them where-ever I found them.

Then as I began to get a sense of honour, and not killing greys etc, the feeling began to fade, and now its got to the point where I've "Duo'd" with a hunter to take down a chanter pet :)

I cant explain why, its just a feeling i get every now and again. when I'm taking out a low rr caster 1 on 1, and it aint much of a challenge, i get it more than in big battles or in decently matched 1 on 1's.

ran into a luri ranger last night and we started fighting, after a few hits he was on 5% or so and i had lots left so i stopped and backed away.
At this point an infil added and started hitting on me, the ranger then started to shoot at the inf. But the inf ended up killing us both, kinda feelt bad for hitting on the luri at all since it got us both killed without anyone of us getting any rps.. so sorry whoever you were, ill just hug you if ii see you again :)

In old frontiers I kept having a little luri shade having a go at me, never even scratched me but she kept on trying and trying, which I admire, its more then a lot do.

In the end I felt guilty so started leaving her on 5% or as close as possible each time then walking off, but killing any others in the usual stealth zerg.

Not seen that ns in ages though :(

Been many occassions where someone tried to fight me, but I've capped out dmg upon them, then they run with alil hp left, sometimes I resist the urge to shoot them once in the back. Most of the time their with friends so no mercy. ;-D

i used to leave very low rr Luri NS or Rangers alone after i had spanked them down to 5-10% in Odins Gate, but that was OF ^^
nowadays i doubt i'll even get a rr1 ranger or NS to 5-10% :p

Haha, yah... I feel the same way...
Dafft i think ur problem is that the scout is just too overpowered and it gets boring killing ppl with no riscs involved... Dr's advice: roll a Shadowblade - think that will bring out ur killing instinct

I felt the same last night with Meekox. I killed her a few times but she never came back as I was hoping to just have a fight and stop or not even fight just wave and say hello. I think she might have been mad at me and would attack me on sight, maybe not.
