Strange gifts

I bought a WIFI dongle from Netgear. As a thank you for my custom, they sent me a free tin of mints - LOL !

(mints - dongle - mints - dongle - mints...nope. still can't work it out LOL)

Anyone else had unexpected free gifts that don't relate to the product ?

I know at least 2 norwegian webshops (for computer parts/games etc) who put a snickers bar with the package as a token of appreciation for buying goods at their store So its not news flash to me
I think its a nice gesture tbh. Definitely makes me happier when I open my package, and basically makes me wanna do business with them again.

You get your computer stuff. They send you candy with your order. Nice. You eat the candy. You order more stuff. More candy. You're actually getting too fat to get out of your chair. All you can do is sit in front of your PC playing DAOC, and ordering more stuff !

Finished a 2 week placement last weekend in a certain city firm, which I absolutly loved. That included the whole TC interview/presentation thing. So fingers crossed.
Had a few more interviews this week, one tomorrow.
Then monday off to Botswana, half way through, I find out if the loveable city firm want me or not
Back in 3 weeks time to more interviews etc etc.

Hmmm I might order a shitload of stuff. Get the sweets and then send everything back for a full refund. Then open a sweet shop and sell all the sweets - rinse n repeat as needed til I make enough moolah to retire !! muhahahaha the fools !!!
