I started play daoc 2 years ago, took me looong time to lvl my gimped hero to lvl 50 killing yellow and ornage mobs only

Powerlvléd my NS in 4fins. Took me 2 days. Then started rvr.. 41 days playtime on Eden total... So not really 2 years

Well, the mids brought rams and opened up the doors for the hibs, basically. It was a lot of fun.. and the occasional lost alb showed up to give everyone arpees.

Its insane.. Ofcourse its common sense; take your old damage, add 20% everywhere and voilla you got relic-damage..

But to see it in game..... WOW... Freaking easymode with relics; you examine RR6 SB, you line up crit, you hit for 1103.. You shoot him for 541. You shoot him for 541, RR6 SB died.

I always considered myselves reasonable competative with 'the rest' but with relics... well its no longer fair. And those Albs had this for all the time!!

Im gonna laugh at every scout shooting an archer for less then 1000 on a critshot if they got relics, with 40 bow-spec I cap on studded relative easy (Mid studded), with 45-50 bow spec for typical scout-leech spec damn u would cap on EVERYTHING if you had decent gear.

Its fun those relics; we wont keep em; but it gives me some impression how freaking easy mode it is..

Remove em imo; would balance the game quite abit; also in stealther-world

But yes; same ofcourse goes for power-relics; but TOA gave all casters a way better boost then relics did tbh. 10% cast-speed, 10% damage and up to 25% resist-piercing >>>>>>> 20% power-relics

Ofcourse 20% stays 20%; and yes hib-casters did prolly around 20% more then Alb/Mid ones when Hibs had power-relics; but pre-TOA it was an entire different game.. albs ran mostly tank-groups, so did mids..

You cannot compare that game to the game now; not to mention caps for most casters are lower then 800

Anyhow I said always relics where 'just another imblance' and I notice the STR-relics very much in stealther-warfare too.

Under my 2 year´s of playtime here as a hibby, we finaly got all three str relics.

1st PA was a 898+346 crit .. ofc the bestone i ever done on a standing asassin.

Did many diamondback´s for 300+ (without LW-debuff or crit´s), add a 150 crit to that, and whops! U got the cheif´s known and feard dmg.


What if we had the relics more often, like mids and albs had them since i started on my NS. All this new and high amounts got me start day dreaming...

I saw in front of me "Eden ze Invader" and to the right a bloody corpse that had "Arauddry ze Pheonix Knight" whriten over it.

Well tbh i didnt i didnt have a dram like that... But as i said... What if !?

Gratz hibs, can finally see that its not "overpowered" classes hitting for stupid damage, but its 3 strength relics that make the damage what it is.

Doesnt change that much for the SB having them tho, SBs still hits like girlies

Dont forget that the 20% you get from powerrelics also affect healing, that makes surviving in fights alot easier, I mean as 40 mendspec and 25% healingbonus on my healer my smallest baselineheal heals for about 230-250 (not sure exact number) with relics.
The castingtime on that is also crazy, + I have wild healing so when I crit it it can heal for way over 400, not really hard to keep someone alive then
