It's very foggy where I am, whenever the wind is blowing from the east, the "harr" blows in and up the Forth valley off the North Sea. I think thunderstorms are predicted for the south of the UK.

Just out of curiosity, what is the top temperature over there atm? All I see in weather forecast websites for UK is a max of 24 Celsius. That's not even bathing temperature, and by the nature of your posts, you're in a fiery pit.

peak temps forecast for monday and tuesday the coming week is 28C. quite ok, unless it's with full cloud cover and 90% humidity :/

Has been hot as hell in Surrey for the last few days. Not seen an ounce of water outside THOUGH, we had a hell of a thunderstorm here a few weeks back. Lighting hit one of the buildings across my road, just as I looked outside. White flare is bad for eyes.

We're not used to temperatures much more than 20C-21C.
Were used to cloudy, cool, rainy conditions.

It's not so much the heat, its the humidity that is hell. I love nothing more then really hot days (specially in egypt ). but I can't stand humidity, hot sweaty clothes clinging humidity.

I've got a temperate climate down here, meaning we get all the four seasons, full flavour.

And I hate it Autumn with day-long rains and chilly winds, Winter with below zero temps and piles of snow... and then when it gets slightly warmer, snow melts, and causes the streets into muddy, snowy-watery-dirty peliculae, making me so depressed and angry at the season.

God I wish I was born at the tropics. Summer year-round, gifv!
