stopping crafting have 3 chain suits 99% left

yep i am stopping all crafting for anybody for any reason until mythic reduce the crafting time, got better things to do

have 3 not pre-sold 99% chain suits left each going for 3.6p

like to say all this armourcrafting and tailoring was worth it but was it fuck

Sorry to hear that mate.

I agree though, the crafting times are very slow, especially when making qual 99 and mp orders. Hopefully they will shorten it soon

I’m a guild crafter only and I need help with that to.
Lucky for me, guild mates are skilling the different crafts to help with lvl 40- items

Last night I got an order.. the order contained 1 99% Cleaver and 1 99% Hand Axe.

Sure no problem I thought... after 14 retries on the cleaver.. I bought a 99% cleaver from a guildmate and sold that instead.. so I thought that the Hand Axe should go fast to get a 99%.
Yeah sure.. 15 retries later on the hand axe I got myself a 99%.

It took 29!!! retries to get a 99% weapon.. so from now on I will only craft for the guild, when I got time.

It took my around 40-50min to craft those 2 weapons (even though I bought one myself) and lost around 500g.

My avrage time on a MP leather suit is about 3-3.5 hours constant crafting.

Should start charging for my time too.

I dont longer craft for others then guildies to, to many complains from ppl who think 3x costprice for a 99% weapon is to expensive. 3x costprice means 8 tries without loss of gold, sometimes i make some profit by make the weapon in lesser then 8 tries, but on of my last orders cost me 18 tries for the desired quality, i lost 300g and alot of time on that order. Besides that, many crafters go for MP's only and the 99% ones they got will be sold at very low prices, good for the customers but bad for crafters who dont take MP orders. So actualy the market is ruined. Maybe i return as a high weaponcrafter when ppl are willing to pay a fair price but until that: Hollander signing off...

Doesnt work, if the desired quality succeed in 2 attempts its ok but when it takes longer the customer is dissapaired

Well if i order an item i always suggest i pay for the retries. Normaly item cost + 30% +retries.

Wherever possible, wouldn't it be best to NOT take crafting orders?

Craft for the sake of it and sell whatever 99%/ MP stuff you make as you go, and trinket the stuff 98% and below back down if no one will buy it.

Tis too costly and wastes too much time taking pre-orders for MP goods. Especially if the person decides at the end of it that it is too dear, or took too long!

Stupid system means that you get MORE money back from selling player made goods to the merchant than you would get from salvaging it. Even if it didn't wouldn't it be a better idea to use the salvage to craft some more

As for crafting in general yeah it takes way too long - it's incredibly annoying when you get mp blade/hilt (sometimes both) and the weapon turns out 94% -_-.

For the guy who needed 3.5hrs for mp leather suit (6 mps) - gimme some of your luck and I might start crafting again

Oh and pandemic - don't you have 120p now or something? That must be worth something

After a certain point money is a bit meaningless in a way after you uber twinked your chars. Personally I have yet to reach 100p but I don't think I'd ever need that much so I give a lot away to guildies

Major benefit of doing this is your guild gets more lgm crafters
