Well, according to calculations, a sorcerors baseline level 50 lifetap has a higher DPS than the delve 209 spec nukes. Ofcourse, you need to spec 33+ body for it. But, which sorc doesn't do that? (and still have the high level mezz in mind).

This would leave them with a Veil of Senility which is a L34 spell and under 1min duration and is not the best AOE spell avalible. Anyway lots of classes do damage, only one class can provide AOE mezz that lasts over 1min. Anyway sorcerer don't even fall into the top 10 albion class (population).

Im not suddenly saying that if you read my post mate. A random mid group would get ownd by an optimal alb group. I never suggested otherwise.

As for Random vs. Random, how can I say ? simple. Again if you actually read my post you would see that. Both mid and hib have few class's and have more utility on there 'essential Characters' than alb characters do so therefore it is 'more likely' as I said in my 1st post already, that they will have a decent group. Of course it depends on the players skill and what class's happen to come but there is a better chance the hibs and mids will be balanced as opposed to the Albs. Hey Albs seem to get the " For Arthur!" types and thus leads to alot of Lancealot Paladin's and Merlin Firewizards ^^.

And ye I prob think the albs should win in that case but who's to say. 8 rr10 Thanes all buffed to the tits with toa out the ying yang against 8 'Roleplayers' I would probably put my money on the thanes . < omg 8 rr10 thanes, I think not! >

We need 1 pac healer for mezzing, 1 aug healer for resists, skald for speed (if we want to compete, be able to escape and catch up to others), Zerker or Bonedancer for Banelord (which is just so damned overpowered against casters /wave dreami and stalky ^^), shaman for end regen and warrior for bg and finally dark runie for damage.

That's 7 (in my opinion) 'needed' classes for a decent mid group. Most SMs these days are supp due to the ability to solo a large amount of enemies and still walk away winning (Miracle comes to mind today in emain, Sycho can probably remember)..

So please enlighten me on the 'essential' classes of a realm you've never played.

Not hard to beat a cleric+merc as a caster with intercept pet who mezzes you first and nukes 600s at 1s whilst far away at start he wasn't solo anyway each time (even my wizard 2 shot a rr5 skald or something 3 days ago, 1157 nuke -_-)

Let's see, cleric, pala, theurg, mins, sorc, friar we need and a banelord class usually, hmm....anyway old discussion everyone knows it and it will not change, NF makes the game more balanced i think.The only problems will be the way the master lvs are spread out then, rest seems ok.

Mincer for speed, Rej Cleric and Enh cleric, Paladin for BG and Enh, Frier for resists, sorcerer for AOE mezz, merc or reaver for Banelord, Cabalist for debuff nuking, and 2 wizards (to provide decent AOE DD, PBAE DD and GTAE DD).

The reason your up against hib guilds and so is that because its a smaller pop word travels a lot faster .

Organise your realm 2 or 3 alliances just think you only technically need 24 guilds 1 guild to claim keeps.

So there you go 2 alliances 12 guilds in each alliance ok probbly looking at 50+ peeps per guild but still you could manage it.

AND croc tear rings + other benefits means you dont HAVE to run in an omg wtf 8man group you could take extra cc along or extra healing or extra damage dealing or extra tankage.

And, about not being the most played... Eh? always hard to find non-buffbot shamans in Midgard too. <shrug>

Why is it that some people think they MUST have the very very best available? You perform choices in the game, and they have consequences for your gameplay. You don't just start whining because you can't have all (note: didn't say YOU whine). Some people whine very loudly when they can't get what they THINK they need, whereas other people adjust themselves and compensate for their loss, with what they win. Ex. mincer TL report: keeps are higher in NF.. "we want better safefall!!!11" (not correct quote, but it kinda shows their message).

IF you choose Albion you will be a player that know only play VS NPC.

IF you choose Hibernia or Midgard you are a player that want to learn and raise his personal skill.

IF you choose Hibernia you will Have to roll a mana chanter with a stupid hat and will Have to learn how to qc stun and pbaoe so you should be a player that want to learn and raise his personal skill.

IF you choose Midgard you will have a choice of rolling SM or a BD depending on the level of challenge you are looking for, ultimately you will have to put up with beardy wives and kobolds with their theme song "im blue da ba di".

i'm not saying the 40/36 sorcerer spec is bac, but i'm pritty sure a healer wanting to spec Pac (to be a main CCer) will not spec Pac 43 and rest in Mend, they will got 44. A 40 Mend 36 Pac healer is the comman spec for healing Healers. Same way i doubt any bards would spec less than 43 in song.
