The Microsoft Sidewinder Girlfriend 3.5. Steers you right away from PS3 AND PC.

Only reason why we have traffic accidents is if the baby falls on the break.

What's your price range?

All the PS3/PC wheels work on both ( as long as driver supported ) - but all the modern wheels do ).

The base unit will be 300-350 and the wheels 200 or so, if it's anything near the new thrustmasters price wise.

The G27 is NOT fully supported by GT5, so if that's your primary game then obv don't go that route.

The main difference between the DFGT and the G27 is the helical gears ( ie G27 is quieter, has more force feedback potential, and has a clutch ).

If you're in the UK, Argos do the DFGT for £89 ( for some reason price went up since i bought mine for 85 ).

Otherwise after that fanatec/thrustmaster do some good wheels but obv a lot more expensive ( 350+).

The last wheel Thrustmaster made that was worth using was about 12 years ago. Everything of theirs modern is cheap tack that you'll often find for half the price with a different badge on like Genius or Trust.

I tried that recently with a friend looking to buy either a G27 or that. He walked away with a £20 driving force pro instead because it felt better than the gustmaster and couldn't see the point of the G27 (despite my pleading with him). It does feel and handle like a crock of shit. My comparison for all wheels goes back to the Logitech Wingman Formula Force - and the Gustmaster compared to that feels like a real playstation 1 special with some added (and cheap) metal glued on top.

Funny because every review I've found for it written by the sim racing nerd crowd seems to rate it extremely positively and only beaten perhaps ( preference ) by the similarly priced fanatecs.

Of course there doesn't seem to be any fanboism about your post WHATSOEVER snarf snarf :p

Disclaimer: I have a Logitech Driving Force GT.

Each to their own though. Wasn't personally impressed.

I got the Logitech G27 for GT5, works great.
4 or 5 of the buttons don't do anything, but everything else works perfectly.
I don't bother using the clutch, more trouble than it's worth.
