Steam won't acknowledge my games???

Can anyone help me?

Since the farcical updates of yesterday Steam works for me, but won't play any games...

I have CS and TFC installed (and HL) but whenever I try and start up a game or play on a server it tells me it has to prepare and d/l the game...

Pls help me someone

Delete your clientregistry.blob, restart Steam. It should fetch the latest update and may tell you no games are installed. Just click the ones you want installed -if its still on your HD it wont d/l any extra.

CS has been updating for me, although its still letting me play it. Its the trickle updates -so when the next update comes we can download less.

I had the same problem with CS and i tried everything.

Start a dedicated for it waited for it to d/l 10 meg and restarted... hey presto sorted
