Looked like a trap... was it a trap? sure felt like it with that green mage jumping up and down on wall in amg-Emain last night.

When we (2 Shadowblades) climbed up on the wall we were first faced with 2 stealthers and the fight begun, seconds later it continues on the ground and 4 more stealthers appears and starts attacking us. Guess you were on the other side of the wall.

The outcome were set on forehand with us 2 shadowblades facing you 6 stealthers (5 inifils + 1 Scout). Never saw the green mage.

Anyway I would like to thank you for letting us kill the 4 of you before we were chopped down

any idea on the level of all these guys? can't figure how 2 sb's would kill more than 2, maybe with a lot of luck 3 other lvl 50's (even when uberbuffed etc...) unless they are complete noobs who bought a lvl 50 rogue class and never learned how to play it

Well Anyone who's fought a Sb knows how insanely powerful they are, lethalaly fast swing hutting for massive damage, high str and poison. Only ever managed to kill a sb once in pure melee and that was without opening PA, killed infils loads of times even after they PA'd ( a few times after PA )
But honestly they are too strong, seen em take a Firby spearo on only IP saved one I saw

Two things that makes this possible:

1) Uber buffed SB and no buffs on Firby Spearo

2) SB was much higher RR than Firby Spearo

There is simply no way an unbuffed SB could win over a equall lvl and RR Firby Spearo in a strait up melee. It is possible that an Inf with Dragonfang can do it, but not a SB though.

Inf are by most ppl regarded as the best assassin in the game with Dragonfang, so I don't know why you refer to SB as beeing "too strong".

That's not a bug. You can use comeback as long as you evaded his LAST attack. And after frosty gaze, he won't be doing any attacks for a while, geddit? B.t.w I'm pretty sure an unbuffed sb vs unbuffed firby spearo can take out the spearo. Just stock up on thrust resist. It's just that most spearos you meet are in groups and are thus buffed, that's why they're so uber. My healer have soloed yellow firbolg spearoes that used moose before, that was before the latest patch even. They just have a heck of a hard time hitting me

an unbuffed infil can MAYBE take out a unbuffed spearo with df, but I doubt it in straight up fighting

Yes, Arnor I agree with you...think Leel needs to play my SB's some more

Even if you go at him several times most peeps will get away b4 you can do the rinse&repeat. And very often someone else comes by, and now there is more of them.

I did that with Lesbos the other day in Odin's hmg. Was this Armsman alone so I PA - CD - SS and ran off. He was like "I'll get that little fecker next time"...then I did it again ran off...lol...then 2fg hibs came by and took the last 45% of hp he had left and I got arround 550RP

A lvl 50 unbuffed Spearo hits me for 500+ and with arround 1220HP unbuffed, it says it all. When they have Fa2/IP, no way are you gonna make it. Even if you stack up thrust resist you will still go down on 3-4 hits. Only way to take a Firby Spearo is to be UBER buffed and have Fa2/IP and dodger III (btw soon to be nerfed).

because left axe does 40% more damage with styles than Celtic Dual?
