Bought this ages ago, played it, enjoyed it a bit, but felt more could be done.

Now I've found they're re-releasing it a year on with updated graphics.

that means they're not giving existing customers a copy, lol.

Seems fucked to me.

I wouldn't worry too much, the game isn't amazing. It's pretty good for a bit and the DLC add a little bit to what is essentially a game all about collecting resources but I got bored after about 20 hours

I don't think a graphics update would make much difference.

Edit, from the screenshots the graphics aren't that much better, some better lighting and shadows maybe but the textures look very similar.

Bit of a cash in I think.

Edit, but yeah, its bound to be better on PC. Everything is.

Doesn't need a graphics update either(on pc ofcourse), so if they're selling it then most owners won't buy it, but could get some more new sales in.

I'm all for a re-release with graphics 2.0 if it makes the guys more money and if that money is put towards SoD2. Good zombie game and those are few and far.

Weird though.

Ah it's not just a graphics re-release, it's a year one bundle thingy with all dlc etc. Bit of a misleading OP there

It's basically the "buy this if you want th game" pack that's going to be the standard such as other gotys.
