hmm, I have 24% cold resistance, and void does nada to me

Will take a lvl 50 eldricht 10 dd's or whatever those sparky things are to take me down

Makes it quite worthwile

the cold resist goes over the cap, and theres hardly any crush (for future patch) or slash resist (for current patch). Tis rather annoying

If anyone in Albion has done the Secret Orders quest (I think that's what it's called) they'll already have reached the cap or near it, anyway. There's a hell of alot of cold resist on those items.
Actually, here are two of the items;

'Veiled Bracer of Eyes
Level 43 Magic Item
8% Cold Resist 8% Cold Resist (yes it is 2x) 8% Body Resist
15 Hps
100 Quality 20 Bonus

Splendid Boots of Glory
84af 34%absorb
15str 8% Cold, 8% Cold (yes it is 2x) 8% Body resist
100 Quality 20 Bonus
Paladin/Armsmen ONLY'

So, you've got 32% resist off those things, asuming you're actually using them. Plus you get alot of cold resists on the Epics, so it does seem a bit silly that cold resists are so readily available.
