Starting a pbae group

Ello hibs.

Am gonna start a pbae group from lvl 35-50.
sign up here or join #hib.xping @q-net

am looking for people who can play from 15.30-23.00 weekdays.
and who can play from 11.00-0X.00 ALL Weekends until we reach lvl 50. I don't want any players who can't play on the weekends.(Friday to Sunday). Hopefully we can start on monday tomorrow (12th may)

I dont recommend to be in group with this dude. He was in ours from 10 - 35 and left 3 times while we played or something.

1: He does extra pulls if the mobs dont baf to good.
2: He quits very easily if its something he doesnt like.
3: Not the best bard I've seen. (I'm not good myself)

when i was in darks groupped i pulled 3 blackthorns at a time when we started

and i dont xp with dude like tzikas from mid/prydwen (kirana hib/excal) that harrasing people to they shall Die IRL... thats why i left the group

I would strongly reccomend anyone against joining this group. Xurin, which is the name I have come to know "delekhan" will only be using whoever joins to boost his own way to 50, with no regards for the rest. He'll expect you to drop everything and everyone in RL to play with him, no matter what turns up on short notice. And if you tell him that you're unable to play one day, he'll probably threathen to kick you out of the group and have you replaced.

Now, why am I saying all this? Im saying it because it has happened to me and seven others. We were part of his "original" PBAE group, the one he left at lev35 because we weren't all able to play on saturday and sunday. One of us is a high-school senior with all the traditions that brings along, one of us had work, and one had a state championship in bowling to attend to, but hey, I guess we should have dropped that to play a game. So, he split from the group, and to tell you the truth, we're glad he did.

And it wasn't the first time he split either. The first time was as early as lev15 or so, when the group wanted to use a highlevel druid to rootpull with, which seemed like a lot safer at the time because of the levels on the mobs we were fighting. Xurin didn't like this, and when we did use the druid after all, he quit. We talked him into rejoining us again, heaven knows why,and he did.

So, unless you like playing by someone elses fiddle and dropping RL 100% for as long as he demands of you, then don't join this group. And no, Im not saying this because I am bitter, fact is our group is now a lot better off with a bard that knows how to play his class as well as how to behave and build a group, Im saying it because I know what you would be going into, and imo its not worth it.

And FAO Xurin, you never built a group with us original guys, the rest of us built a group around you. Too bad you were too set on using us to PL yourself to 50 to realize it and work a little for the group yourself.

You left the group because we didn't PL you to 50 fast enough. And if you wanna start throwing shit about people, I can always dig up my irc logs and start posting shit you said on here.

And yes, Xurin did do double pulls almost all the time, resulting in lots of deaths. If only two mobs arrived on the original pull, Xurin would pull another 2-3, and we were stuck with 1-3 possibly dead people, everyone being completly out of mana and end, etc etc over and over. And did he stop when people in the group told him to not double pull? No, he didn't.

You're calling us n00bs Xurin? Thats a interesting turn of the events. How about you try explaining yourself in a mature way rather than just blowing us off and hoping that other people will ignore us and join your group? You could actually convince someone that we are the bad guys then. Who knows? At least we made decent posts here, we didn't just come on and say "omfg, Xurin is such a n00b, don't evah group with him plzzzz! kthxbye!!!111" So how about you trying to be a little decent as well?

Stop lying Xurin, and stop evading the issues we bring up in this thread. Answer them, instead of avoiding them. Or are you afraid your precious little bubble containing your version of the "truth" will burst if you actually sit down and think for a few?

2: yes i left the group cuz you guys couldnt play in a pbae group when you guys started to root with a druid...you guys didnt listen to me.
3: i don't play with players who got a bad attiude like you tzikas. i can accept flames against other people but not what you said tzikas.

2) And you listened to us? What about the constant doublepulls, resulting in deaths and xp loss? And what about the druid pulls?? The xp was the same, and it was safer. If you had cared enough to listen to the group instead of saying "no" and quitting immediatly, you would perhaps have realized this.
3) What I said to you (and got reported for) was nowhere near as bad as what you said to me (and got reported for). Still, I admit, it was dumb of me to say it, but ... you were begging for it, and whats done is done.

A question, did u xurin tell the guys in last xp grp that u were going to play on weekends, and which times?

If so its u "joiners" problem if u said u could.

If he just invited you and etc etc and told you u can join even tho he knew you couldnt play on weekends its his fault.

If he didnt, ur fault again xurin.

And no xurin , i dont want any flames or elite such a language. Pls tell me with honesty and the truth. Thats all i wanna know.

yes i asked them if they could play those times etc.. example i asked if everyone could play this last WHOLE weekend everyone said yes except 1 or 2 people.. but then it become 4-5 people....

I can only speak for 2 members of the group, which got a few things come along all of a sudden, which made them unable to play.
You have to understand Xurin, things take a turn for the worse sometimes, if something important comes up, I sure as hell wouldnt let it go for a daoc xp group.
Thats me though :)

He asked, and some of us couldn't play. Which was all okay to begin with, at least thats the impression he gave off. But like ghoul says, something came up for someone, something that made them have to take some time to do stuff iRL, which was enough to make Xurin leave obviously.

tzikas i accepted some things about IRL stuff but i dont accept that dohh did the dragon raid... when the whole group looked forward to xp on sunday... that we had planned to do..

I didn't see anyone else leave the group though? So I guess they found it in themselves to wait for him, only you couldn't? I wasn't there at the time though, but what I said initially in this thread still stands.
