Actually the 'Enterprise' (why do they keep calling all their ships enterprise anyway? It seems to be a prequisit to getting it blown up) in the last movie I saw (Nemisis, I think) was pretty cool, having one of those would be awesome...

I'm serious, I want an Enterprise: Nemisis Edition IRL. Fuck peace and love, i'd rain lazer death down on the earth and rule over the survivors

The only way theyed get me to play that game is if they had seven of nine in the tutorial and startup movie. After all "Resistance is futile."

As for the game, i can see little Elitist fags and Startrek nerds battling it out in a huge battle royal, attacking everything that wasn't in there clans or alliances. Yup, i can see that game going doown the crapper real fast. I mean, forget the "picard vs kirk" camparsons, try "team Roxxor" vs "the Alpha quardant alliance". The arguing over chat would be hillarious.

i always enjoy it when they start babbling about tachyon phase distrupters and stuff

A Star Trek MMORPG is an utterly rediculous idea. Due to the fact you wont be able to play any main character, you will be the generic Ensign Fuckwit from whichever series you choose. And what happens to Ensign Fuckwit on his first away mission? Well, he gets fucked.

Always have a last name, never wear the red shirt on the bridge if your an ensign, when combat starts "Stand away from anything explosive!" and never, NEVER, volunteer for any away mission if everyone else on the team is a bridge officer or cheif member of staff.

Well, Starwars worked, startrek might as well. Depends on how they do it. Seen a load of crappy games about SW, seen a lot of crappy games about ST, seen a lot of crappy games about Medieval times. Starwars is more interesting to play at the moment then DAoC so i guess ST might hold some interest too.

It's all about how the game is done. Setting means f*ck all. Pardon my USA.
