If you've ever been to ireland you'll realise that racism in ireland makes the uk look like a festival of hippies.

Been to ireland before on several occasions and i found the irish to be the ultimate hosts and never ever felt uncomfortable out there and my cousind studied at royal college of surgeons in dublin and he never had any problems either. And sorry Raven but nationalism and racism are the same thing and i never said u were a racist i was pointing out what i felt was a valid point which is that racist morons Will find people to bother and beat up because that is there nature.

Racists are a minority, I agree sadly Football seems to attract them for some reason. Every country has its racists. As a country that takes in hundreds of thousands of refugees and asylum seekers each year i hardly see how you can call england as a whole racist, we have a history of helping other countries in times of war, famine, natural disaster etc, you just need to walk around London or any other big city to see the divercity of cultures and races.

The fact of the matter is that there is a segment of society in this country that are deeply racist and they are not such a small minority as u would like to believe. If you asked the people that are foriegn in this country what they think the English think of them i think you will find that the majoirty would say that they are not welcome here. The reason i bring this up is becausse as a foriegn person who has lived in England for so many years i speak like the English so a lot of times people think i am English and some of the stuff that is said around me sometimes makes me wanna be sick but what can u do when u sitting in a pub and there are twenty people laughing at some stupid remarks made about refugee's etc?
The only thing u have said that i can agree with in this whole thread is that there are racists everywhere and that they are a detriment to society.
