Hi all,
My dad has an old ish PC (6ish years) that he had me put an SSD card in to boot from just before christmas along with windows 7.
It all works pretty well except every now and then when he installs updates, or something else funny happens, his bios seems to loose track of the boot order. So it ends up failing to boot with an "NTLDR not found" type error.
Going into the bios and putting the SSD fixes the problem and the PC boots but its a pain, especially when I have to talk my technophobe mum through a bios!
I wondered if it was mobo battery but the Bios clock is right, anybody got any genius solutions?
Cheers,
Tild
