Animal is an animal is an animal, in finland, you can't hunt squirrels, forbidden to even have one as a pet. Total sanctuary for the critters, but if there's plenty of them to go around, it's as mean and cruel to shoot one as it is to eat a rat, scorpion, snake, hamster, cow, pig, dog, cat...whatever.

What happens if I hit one with my car? One popped on to the road yesterday morning although I easily evaded it with pwnz0rskeelz it could have died though! Would that be criminal?

Well it's an accident really. Now if you ran over a couple of them, in a suspiciously big truck with "Squirrel Pwnzormobile" written on it and around the park instead of the roads...then it might be a different story

Not sure if you have to report the squirrel accidents though...
