I've opened it in Office 2007 and saved it as an open office spreadsheet. See if you can open this.

You'll need to rename it, as I added .doc to the end to get round the forum attachment limit for zip files.

My bad, I did not mean I could not open it; it opens fine. It just does not work as it is meant to, need the formulas fixed so that OO recognises them.

If I can get OO installed on this work machine I'll have a look. I have a number of suspects as to why it won't work but I'll need to experiment to find a solution as they do things slightly differently to how I would've done them...

Well, that was a surprise...opening the xlsx version in OO3.1 breaks it totally but opening an Office 2003 converted xls file preserves all the validated lists and it seems to work.

Try the version linked here, drop down lists are very unresponsive but they do work eventually, no idea why...

It has seemed to put on a little bit of weight but that I think happened during conversion...

I'll give that a try later today, I have reverted to excel 07 to get it running, but need an OO version still for someone else. Many thanks :)
