Sprays

I was wondering how people got these fancy sprays?
If I got one of the internet how do I select it to use it in the game.

P.S be helpful if someone helped me here.

The sprays replace the rather dull ones you get by default within CS.

You can download ready-made sprays frmo various sites - try www.edit-strike.nl

File needs to be called pldecal.wad and reside in your cstrike directory ( file must be less than 15 kb)

If you go to customize when in CS, you lose your new spray.

You can also create your own pldecal file with a program called wally, available from EDIT-STRIKE

OK, this Thread saved my fickin life lol, i had to do one for my Clan (PUK), but forgot lol.. anyway

i used Paint Shop Pro to create it and Wally to convert it, but, it looks crystal clear as a .psp / .bmp but looks shit as JPG.. it looks like its been mangled badly, and is very unclear.

Does anyone know how to fix this (bare in mind w/ the resolution settings..)

I really wanna know the answer to this.. please help heh

It sounds like your starting image was of a relatively low resolution. 64x64 comes out a bit shitty (I have my avatar as my CS spray and it's all right, but a bit jagged) as they're enlarged to fit a specific 'space' in-game.

This is the best guide I've found for designing sprays.

Oh yeah... also, does anyone know how to get the pdcal.wad and send it to other users (so they get the spray as well?)

If so.. tell me how to do it, and the location on where to put it

(this is for counter strike)

There is a program called Wally, which allows you to make your own sprays.
You can download this here

errr, get an Animation Program, i used Paint Shop Pro 7 which has ANIMATION SHOP, go there, get all the pics ya want, open em, add em to the Clip, Press Go

Voila

Then, just chuck the Gif onto a website then just direct the Picture thing (Forgot the name??) to the website..

all done??? heh

When i opened the file it was html not a pic so how do i use it in the game.
