I know, its been put back and back, but they've just released the creature editor and its kinda funny to mess around with for a few minutes - you can only create stuff and walk around a small area, you cant actually do anything, but it might give you an idea of how the game might handle once it's out. There are two versions - trial and full, the full version has to be paid for though.

Cant wait for it personally, just hope it doesnt get fuxed up and dumbed down by EA too much

I thought it was £4.99 but either way, its annoying, but its what you expect of EA I guess. Maxis are good though - seem to have gone a but crazy with the sims but back in the day the simcity games where good fun imo

Sorry, just looked it up on amazon and it was € 9,95.
Anyways, whatever it is, it´s not annoying, it´s a big fooking impudence of a company to sell an editor, especially when the name of the company is EA and not too shy to make statements like "every game that sells less than x million* copies is considered a flop".
Editors are tools to help the devs during the creation of the game. You either decide to release them so the customers can mod the game, or you don´t. But you DO NOT ask money for it.

This may sound a bit harsh, sorry about that. I`m usually not someone who tends to jump the "bash EA" bandwagon. But when I heard about this stunt, I was really pissed off.
