spellcrafting for thid???

Having made a set of jewels ready to imbue a set of leather i found it didn't cost all that much to get some realy nice stats onto pc armour.
This particular set will set the customer back a mere 5 gold.

instead of getting armour from darkness falls to twink your alts why not just get some crafted stuff and spellcraft it???
im getting my own BG alt a suit and doing it myself for sure :)

What are your thoughts on this? and is it a good thing for Thidranki? will battles last that little bit longer? or will it just be yet more silly overpowered twinks running around beating on noobs...

put it into the same category as...

...buffbots and twinks.

it doesnt matter what people think, if its a good or a bad thing. it will happen because every1 wants every edge they can get (or afford - re 2nd account for buffbot).

i myself have put half a dozen characters through thidranki and wont lie and tell you i now have an emerald set of darkness falls armor for every midgard armor type except chain, because it is simplicity for my level 42 skald main to farm the emeralds for me.

simply by looking round and seeing the number of black cloaked infiltrators and shadowblades and all the glowing staff waving casters, it is a plain fact that every who is not a "true new player" has twinked.

and there is now, and has been for some while, a hard core underclass of what i shal call thidranki lovers, they roll, cap, and reroll, either not bothering with high level RvR or doing it between stints on thidranki. i was like this but am at the moment enjoying myself with my level 44 runie on camlann.

to get back to the point in question.

yes, every1 with time on their hands, and even people who dont, will acquire spellcrafted weapons and armor to supplement or replace their twinked gear.

for the "true new players" who dont have access to an easy source of gold farming, this will make thidranki really deadly.

for the rest of us, and lets face it, i consider that as the majority, because i dont see a constant influx of new people coming into this game, i see rerolls of new characters by the same players. i think spell crafting will add an extra level of skill and diversity, boosting those resists and skills will just make things more fun.

anyway, thats my £2.50

regards all

good :)
another cool thing is that sc'd armour gains a name depending on what you imbue it with, Shadowwalker jerkin for instance :)

just did my first imbual now and i feel all tingly inside....i like this alot compared to other crafts, i may even keep going when i get more cash.

300+ sc atm and it is enough to pretty much add whatever a thidranki character wants to armour/weapons.

If you are thinking of getting your own pc kit enchanted then use the spellcraft calculator to work out what you want on your items before you see the spellcrafter :) makes it alot faster.

happy twinking folks :)

Spell crafting is just another way for ppl to go lvl there Toons *Twinks in black armour* to thidranki though this time they don't even have to farm emeralds from df or even get high lvl drops and uber there toon up. Id like to see what toon will have the highest resist at thidranki now :)

I don´t agree, it´s not JUST twinkers that can gain from spellcrafting, the suit I posted cost 10g, ANY level 24 can afford that, and if in a good guild the armor to sc will be free, that armor was NOT made for spellcrafting, my tailor was just lucky :)

most of toughguys resist were capped (13%) except energy and thrust mebbe some others that was just with df items and drops. dont think ill bother getting SC armour for him though hes almost capped :/.

Thats my SB toon that forever gets re rolled. I dont grp (except if mid get round to keep takes etc) i just solo, like taking tanks etc on, sure casters are fun to 1 hit but its booorrriiinnnggg :)

Didnt cap resists cos i went +5LA, +5Stealth,+5evenom and +5Crit.

And no, i aint dyed in black ;) just 5s brown dye for me heh

Any mids who want some SC twinkage i charge cost SC prices for lowbies if u take the time to do your own config, buy the items needed and bring em to me :)

hate to tell ya mate but you have alot of +str str is useless to a friar :/ staff dmg is based on dex, dex also increases your parry chances and evade chance (qui also helps evade) so yeah nice armor but alot of stats are useless to you

but what he didn't say was that i had to add other stats due to virtually everything on friar was capped. So i just put whatever he asked for :D
