As a result this has lead to Albion beeing stupidly overpowered and Hibernia/Midgard groups dont really stand a chance in open field combat anymore. Is this really fair?

Well, im sure they were planning a change in all three realms. If i get to QQ about it, i would say, its probably ToA's fault. Instead of actually balancing the game, like another normal gamemaster (see: Mythic) would do, they practically throw in all this shit in RvR (see: ML's, ToA gear, Artifacts) that its impossible to say if its balanced or not. I recall a note from Mythic long time ago saying: ML's will not have any impact on RvR? Any event, as someone mentioned, rather have it this way, than Mythics weird ass ideas all over Hib/Mid

tell you what they need to look at cast speeds. its like mages running around being able to nuke for say 500-600 with 0.8 sec cast speeds meaning once they lock and load their target is in for world of pain.

for some unknown reason they wont give the same advantage to melee (or bow) with this fooking 250 quick cap.

the comparative damage over time now between nukes and melee (or bow) has totally swung in favour of the mage. (its always was in their favour, this was fine but its unbalanced atm)

Well, you can't really compare melee and nuke damage (though you have a point with the bow damage) as casters are so easily interupted, whereas you cannot interupt melee. Ofcourse, when you bring Moc into the equation it sort of messes the comparison up a little, but that's pretty much sorted with frontiers when they reduce your damage when you use it.

Cabalists seriously need a PBAE lifetap. Combine it with NF-style 30 sec MoC and you could wipe a zerg.

Well after reading such crap thread I've decided to throw in more crap

First of all, and as it's the subject of this thread... I think the spells are fine across realms for the current state of the game in Europe.
If Mythic is to make a spell ovehault to Hib and Mid I think you will probably lose base line stun, like admited by Mythic staff as a design mistake. Although this doesn't mean that Mythic wouldn't be kind enough with the Hibs and put a stun in say Mana spec for enchanters, being the last stun at lvl 49?

Now for the part where you state that Hibs / Mids don't stand a chance VS Albs... Well I think you are either playing another game or if you are indeed playing daoc you should quit, you suck at it.

All the realms seem pretty much balanced overall at this moment, despite some minor problems with some setups, each realm can put up a setup that can give other realms a decent fight and have the chance for a victory in the battlefield.

Now for the lifetap, the omg give spell... I think that albion should be the only realm having it, at least at the moment given the current state of the game. If we count how many healing classes are in hib / mid group we can realise the following:
- Mid: 3Healers 1Shaman
- Hib: 2Druids 1Bard 1Warden
- Alb: 2 Clerics
Admit it or not this is what I fought the most in emain since last patch.

Although albion has a healing centric class as healer (it's not mezing etc) given the current state of interrupt system, where you get interrupted when a fly farts, it only makes sence to have Albion as lifetap realm. I do admit that MoC+Lifetap is the fotm, but I do ask the other realms to admit their overpowered things.
Each realm has it's toys, to stand a chance in the battlefield you just need to know how to use them! This doesn't include 3rd party toys (Voice Com not included, it should be built-in tbh)...

Sorry, pbaoe lifedrain is claimed by reavers. You can only ask to make into shorter timer to use it more

That is so lol, albs could run with a friar in the spot of a warden no problem, and a bard heals about as well as a minstrel. and mids just have more healing.
