Spell effect problems

Im sure many people are familiar with this problem as a majority of people ive asked in game get the same thing on the Gefore GFX cards

The problem i have is when ever i cast a spell, instead of getting the trail of smoke stuff on my hands it appears in the distance on screen. Its something ive become used overtime, but omg what i would give to have this fixed.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem or even if it is fixable at all.

I get the same thing every now and then, not constant, but very noticable in large battles. I don't think it's graphics card related, more game side. using a radeon 9600pro

I have this with my cabby, but not when buffing my Friar... Using a GF4 atm, will change to an ATI this week - I'll try to let you know if this solves it

ATi 8500 has this also on some hibby spells
