Spell crafting/Taxidermy

Was looking through scing gem types, noticed Crushed Diamond Seal Dust (801) which ive always wonder what it was for. A quick search on the net i find a site which promts it to Taxidermy. Now what have trophies got todo with scing? Alc potions are needed for tropies but cant make the connection between scing. ToA perhaps?

Any ideas?
