Elemental weapons. How many imbue points do you have on these? Normally its 37.5 max imbue, however elemental weapons have 2% dmg on so that uses up some of the 37.5.

I found a weapon on Allakhazam - Arcanium Fortifying Tempestuous Bishop Mace

Realm: Albion
Slot: Right Hand
Required
Legendary
Weapon Skill: Crush
Damage Type: Elemental
DPS: 16.50
Delay: 3.80
Magical Bonuses:
Constitution: 28 pts
Matter Resist: 8%
Spirit Resist: 8%

Item Bonuses:
Armor factor (AF): 10
Melee Damage: 2%
vs Magical, Giant, Humanoid

Now unfortunately you cant craft 8% resist gems. So I had to enter the stats into Kort's like this
Con 28%
Matter 7%
Spirit 9%

The imbue points show 33.0

The next thing I tried was "get 4 gems with 22 stat so I equal 37.5 overcap."
22 str
22 con
22 dex
22 quick = 37.5

I then remove one of these stats (as the weapon has 2% dmg) which leaves me on 30.0 imbue

Can anyone help please?

They have 37.5 imbue points same as any other lvl 51 crafted item , but you can only SC 3 slots not 4. The 10AF or the 2% damage dont take up any of the imbue points.

Oh forgot to ask. Does the 37.5 only apply to 100% weapons, or 96%+ like sigil armour?

As Influenza says it applies to any quality.

With armour (for say chain) you lose around 3AF for each % below 100% quality. This however can be made up for with base AF.

With legendary weapons your damage will drop slightly if you use lower quality items so I wouldn't use anything below 98% and if possible I would go 99%. MP legendary weapons often go for 30+ plat.

Thanks again guys.

The reason I asked is because the Dragonsword or Sigil armour can be 96%+ and still have 37.5 imbue points. However I 'assumed' normal crafted armour did not have this 'feature'

Thanks for all the help :)
